Dr. Andrew Mechigian graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. He achieved academic honor roll during his tenure. Dr. Mechigian went on to complete his 3-year surgical residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. He had extensive foot and ankle surgical training during this time. Dr. Mechigian was appointed chief resident during his third and final year of residency. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mechigian has three sons, Mason, Brayden, and Roman with his wife Rachel. His father, Dr. Aram Mechigian, practiced in Northville serving the community for more than 40 years.
Dr. Cody Ingram graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI with high honors in Biology. He attended medical school in Manhattan, NYC at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. During his four years in Manhattan he participated in many activities to bring community awareness to medical issues such as Diabetes and Charcot Neuro-arthropathy. He completed his surgical residency at McLaren Oakland, and was named Chief Resident during his training. In order to further his commitment to research, public health and community awareness, Dr. Ingram also received a Master’s in Public Health during his medical school studies.
During residency Dr. Ingram was among a select group of medical and surgical residents to staff the Karmanos Cancer Center at McLaren Oakland. Dr. Ingram served as the night medical and surgical officer during his many shifts at the center where he managed a wide variety of medical and surgical pathologies. He brings a wealth of medical and surgical expertise from McLaren and the Karmanos Cancer Center.
Dr. Ingram is an associate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and has a special interest in Charcot (Charcot Disease, Charcot Neuro-arthropathy, Diabetic Charcot), diabetic limb salvage, ankle surgery, and advanced wound care techniques. Dr. Ingram has attended advanced plastic surgery courses and flap courses at Duke University Medical School. Dr. Ingram is excited to bring in his expertise in muscle grafting and skin flaps
